Universal Studios Hollywood

Another USH post? Yep. I wanted to write separate posts for Universal Studios and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter so it wouldn’t seem like my camera just barfed out pictures.

I could never get tired of Universal Studios. For a while, USH was our theme park without the crowds. It was never as busy as Disneyland so we were able to seek the thrills without standing in line for a lifetime. We had annual passes for half of 2014 and all of 2015 and I was sure to make use of it.

With all the new attractions, it’s starting to get a little bit busier but I still always have a good time. This time, we stayed at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. Like I mentioned in my last post, we booked the room an hour before we started our drive to Universal City. I was able to get an amazing last minute deal which included the room and a pair of park tickets WITH early entrance passes to enter before the park opens. Universal Studios was on the other side of Sheraton’s parking lot so that was a major plus! And because the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the park, you better believe I took a nap in the middle of the day. After all, we did start driving from Vegas at 3AM! By lunchtime, we needed that nap.

We were able to see the new Fast and Furious attraction during the Studio Tour. It was the first time for us both. I loved it! I’m not a fan of 3D because of my glasses but the ride was still so much fun!

Till next time Universal! You never know, we might take another spontaneous trip back soon!
